What to expect each week...

Each week we’ll explore a different area of the body, gradually building mobility, strength, stability and body awareness through breath-led Vinyasa flow, functional movement and moments of rest and reflection. Every class will offer a balance of dynamic movement and slower, more mindful practices, with options to suit different bodies and experience levels.

Week 1 — Grounding: Feet & Stability
We’ll explore the feet and ankles using props, self-massage and movement to encourage mobility, awaken sensation and build stability. Through sun salutations, standing flows, balance work and isometric movements, we’ll explore what it means to feel grounded and connected from the feet through the pelvis, before slowing down into floor-based postures and rest.

Week 2 — Hips & Pelvis
We’ll explore hip mobility, internal and external rotation, and stability through the pelvis. Combining flowing sequences with slower, targeted postures, we’ll work towards greater freedom of movement while developing awareness of the relationship between mobility, control and support.

Week 3 — Core, Trunk & Twists
This week focuses on the relationship between breath, core stability and spinal movement. We’ll explore 360-degree breathing, awareness of the ribs and abdomen, the difference between bracing and responsive support, and spinal articulation through twists and flowing movement.

Week 4 — Upper Back & Shoulders
We’ll create space and explore movement through the upper back, chest and shoulders, working with both active and more passive postures. Expect a combination of mobility, strengthening and opening to help you move with greater awareness and ease through the upper body.

Week 5 — Neck, Throat & Backbends
Building on our work with the upper body, we’ll explore the relationship between the neck, shoulders and spine through gentle backbends and mindful movement. We’ll balance strength and openness with an emphasis on breath, comfortable range of motion and finding ease rather than forcing depth.
Week 6 — Balance, Coordination & Proprioception

We’ll challenge our sense of balance and body awareness through standing sequences, coordination exercises and movements that invite us to adapt and respond. Using ujjayi breath to connect movement and breathing, we’ll explore the relationship between focus, stability and fluidity.

Week 7 — Focus, Drishti & Gentle Inversions
We’ll explore drishti — the use of a steady gaze to support concentration and balance — alongside gentle inversions and variations that connect an upward-reaching energy with a grounded base. We’ll finish with opportunities to turn the attention inwards through stillness and meditation.

Week 8 — Whole-Body Integration & Deep Rest
Bringing together the themes from the previous weeks, we’ll explore slower, somatic movement to develop awareness of the body as a whole. The series will close with guided relaxation, with the option to experience yoga nidra, creating space to settle, reflect and integrate your practice.
